The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call was taken. All Officers were present.

The minutes of the December 14, 2020 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by John Calzolano and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Ken Osterhoudt and seconded by David Kane. Motion passed.

St. Lucie Mets General Manager Traer Van Allen joined us via Zoom to fill us in on the plans for Spring Training and the Minor League season. They have been working with different scenarios, all dependent on the decisions made by MLB. So far, there won't be open workouts and the players will train in shifts. The Minor Leaguers will most likely be brought in after Major League camp breaks, so the season may not start until mid-May. The goal will be to play as many games as possible. Traer answered as many of our questions as he could.

Since the Spring Training Program will only be available online, we have extended the deadline for renewing members to have their name included in our ad until the February 15th meeting. Also remember that if you renew by March 9th your membership will be valid thru December 2022. Please visit our website to complete your application if you have not already renewed.

The February 15th meeting will be held at Duffy's or you can attend via Zoom using meeting id 743 7463 8382 and pass code Mets2021. We will let you know where we are holding the March 9th meeting, as well as the dates and location of future meetings, once they are determined.

We will have our raffle prizes at the next 2 meetings, with the drawing held in March.

We are not selling Enjoyment Books this year, but member Wilma Osterhoudt has them available if you would like to purchase them.

We welcomed new members Jessie Lopez in person and Paul and Susan Samson via Zoom.

The name called for the 50/50 was Kathleen Arrants, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Jackie Calzolano and seconded by Ken Osterhoudt. The meeting was adjourned at 7:42 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Pat Urso, Secretary

New York & St. Lucie Mets Booster Club
