The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:43 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call was taken. All Officers were present.
The minutes of the February 15, 2021 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Jim Tourville and seconded by Bill Zuppe. Motion passed.
The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Grace Korona and seconded by Jim Tourville. Motion passed.
Prior to the start of the monthly meeting, a Zoom meeting was held with Mets owner Steve Cohen and president of baseball operations Sandy Alderson, hosted by Wayne Randazzo. They graciously answered our questions and gave us some insight into the coming season. We were very pleased and grateful for the time they spent with us. Jimmy also thanked Dora for making the request to Steve's office and Judy and Pat, with an assist from Morgan Fitzgerald, for handling the technical set·up.
We have cancelled the bus trip to Miami, since the seating will still be under restrictions.
After the conclusion of tonight's meeting, we will draw the winners of the raffle prizes.
Next month's meeting will again be held at the Spring Hill Suites Catering Hall. We hope to be back at the stadium beginning in May. We will also continue holding the meeting via Zoom.
The name called for the 50/50 was Jackie Calzolano, who was present and won 75% of the pot.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Jim Tourville and seconded by Ed Moore. The meeting was adjourned at 7:59 p.m.
