•The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call was taken. All Officers were present.

• The minutes of the March 9, 2021 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Joyce King and seconded by Paul Samson. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Jackie Calzolano and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• Tickets to the St. Lucie Mets games go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, April 20. The schedule for the Low-A Southeast League is 6 straight games vs. the same team, with Mondays off. Games on Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday are at 6:10 p.m., with Wednesday and Sunday games at 12: 10 p.m. Opening day is Tuesday, May 4 vs. the Jupiter Hammerheads.

• The Mets have established the Amazin' Mets Foundation, with owner Alex Cohen as President. The Board has recommended making a $500.00 donation, with the request that the funds be used locally. A motion was made by John Calzolano, seconded by Wilma Osterhoudt, to make the donation. Motion passed.

• The May 17, 2021 meeting will again be held at the Spring Hill Suites catering hall, since we are still not able to meet at the stadium. We will continue to use Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person.

• We send our thanks to George Napolitano, who donated 2 photos of Francisco Lindor for our monthly raffle.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Jim Fertitta, who was present and won 75% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Bill Zuppe and seconded by Gayle Fishbein. The meeting was adjourned at 731 p.m.

• The minutes of the April 19, 2021 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Ken Osterhoudt and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Jim Fertitta .. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Joyce King and seconded by Ken Osterhoudt. Motion passed.

• The unveiling of the Tom Seaver statue at CitiField has been delayed until Opening Day 2022.

• Due to the Mets using the conference room at Clover Park for the draft, the June 21st meeting will be at the Spring Hill Suites catering hall.

•We are selling the Baseball America and Sports Illustrated magazines featuring Francisco Lindor on the cover for $12.00 each. Please check with Jim for availability.

• We will be advised by the Amazin' Mets Foundation on how they use our $500.00 donation.

• Member Gordon Freed let us know that he recently completed his tour of the 30 current Major League stadiums. He has attended games at 48 different stadiums overall.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Jim Fertitta, Sr. who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mary Ann Jones and seconded by Susan Samson. The meeting was adjourned at 7:27 p.m.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
