• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for member Pam Silecchia and former Met David West. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present.

• The minutes of the April 18, 2022, meeting was read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Wilma Osterhoudt and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer’s Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read was made by Stephen LaBargo and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• We have filled the bus for the June 25 trip to Miami. The bus leaves from Clover Park at 12:00 noon for the 4:10 p.m. game. The games on July 30 and September 10 are at 6:10 p.m. and we will leave at 2:00 p.m. Please sign up for these games as soon as you can, so you don’t miss out.

• The July 18 meeting will have to be held at another location. We will let you know where it will be once we finalize the details. Dora gave a minor league report. As of tonight, the records are St Lucie 23-10, Brooklyn 13-17, Binghamton 11-21, and Syracuse 13-22. New York has a winning record of 23-13.

• The Board recommended that we make a $100.00 donation to Red Nose Day, which helps break the cycle of child poverty. A motion to make the donation was made by Ken Osterhoudt and seconded by Bill Zuppe. Motion passed.

• Membership Chairperson Mary Ann Jones reported that we have gone over the 300 mark with our newest members. We welcomed Kenneth Faulkner, Luz and Enrique J. Rosado and Don and Diana McConnell.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Alan Mathison, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Harry Anderson and seconded by Ken Osterhoudt. The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
