• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for member Jack Ross. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present.

• The minutes of the February 19, 2024 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Frank Lange and seconded by Lynne Skell. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Scott Neidhammer and seconded by Jim Tourville. Motion passed.

• We welcomed Port St. Lucie Police Chief Richard Del Toro who gave us an overview of the department, the city and its growth. He took questions from the members, many having to do with traffic. We thanked him for taking the time to speak with us.

• Our Spring Gathering went very well, with Duffy’s providing the food and good service. Judy reported that we made a net profit of over $1400.00. She also thanked Jim and Sue for their donations and organizing.

• Jim will be in touch with those who are going to the Tampa games in May. He will distribute the tickets using the Ballpark app.

• We added another prize for tonight’s raffle, a pair of tickets for the game tomorrow night, which were donated by Roger and Carolyn Willis. The drawing will be held after the meeting.

• Next month our meeting will be back at the stadium in the Conference Room.

• The bus trip to Miami on Saturday, May 18th will cost $90 .00 for members and $95.00 for non-members. The increase is due to the cost of the bus. Payment is due by April 30th.

• We received a thank you from the Salvation Army for our recent contribution, which they used to buy 200 lbs. of food for their pantry.

• We welcomed new members Monica Gaile and Jack Hernandez.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Ed Harty who was present and won 75% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Paul Samson and seconded by Joe Grodzki. The meeting was adjourned at 7:47 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
