Dear Mets Booster Club Members,
Let's hope by the time of our next meeting in March we will be having Spring Training. I know we are all ready.
We have sold all 30 tickets for the March 13th Mets vs. Nationals game in Palm Beach.
Starting in March, we are collecting money for our three bus trips to Miami at $60.00 per person. Your name will go on the list once you pay. The game dates are Saturdays, June 25, July 30 and September 10. These bus trips are always good, so don't wait to send in your money.
Please note our March 14th meeting will be held at the St. Lucie Mets Convention Center, Baron Real Estate, 8555 Commerce Centre Dr. in St. Lucie West.
At the meeting we will have a sign-up sheet for our Spring Gathering, which will be held at Clover Park in the Jim Beam section of the stadium on Saturday, March 19th from 11 :30 am to 2:30 pm. The cost is $35.00 per person (barbecue food & soft drinks will be served). Tickets for raffle items and a 50/50 drawing will be sold. If you wear any Mets shirt you will get 3 FREE raffle tickets at check-in. This has always been a fun event. Money for the Gathering must be paid by this meeting, as we need a correct count for food items.
Also at the March meeting, we will complete the drawing for the 10 Mets items that we started at the February meeting.
I can't promise anything, but I will try to get a guest speaker for this meeting.
