• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for former Mets coach Ozzie Virgil Sr. Roll call was taken. All officers were present,

• The minutes of the September 16, 2024 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Doug Weiss and seconded by Stephen LaBargo. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Reports as read was made by Frank Lange and seconded by Roger Willis. Motion passed.

• We congratulated the Mets on their great season.

• We ask members to bring toys for the WPSL Christmas Kids and non-perishable food for the Children’s Home Society WaveCREST Shelter to the November meeting. The Board recommends donating $250.00 to each of these organizations to supplement our contributions. A motion for the donations was made by Roger Willis and seconded by Frank Lange. Motion passed.

• We have sign-up sheets available for the Road Trip to the Mets vs Nationals game on March 15th and the Bus Trip to the Mets vs Marlins game on April 1st.

• The Monday, February 17th and Tuesday, March 11th meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn Express on Courtyard Circle in St. Lucie West, across from Duffy’s.

• The Spring Gathering is on Saturday, March 8th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Duffy’s. The cost is $30.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members. We hope to have some great prizes for the raffles.

• If you haven’t already paid to attend the Annual Dinner on November 9th, you have until November 1st.

• Fantasy Camp has three sessions this year, November 4-8, 10-15 and 17-22. Games are open to the public in the back fields starting at 9:00 am, with a break from 11:30 to 1:00.

• Jack Pallen from J&D Cards is at the meeting tonight. If you have any cards you are looking for, please let him know.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Michael Morency, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Frank Lange and seconded by Stephen LaBargo. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
