There are two sold out fantasy camps running from November 9th to 15th and 16th to 22nd.

• The Fall Event is all set with over 60 signed up to attend. We will have a door prize in addition to a wide variety of raffle prizes. The event is on Friday, October 24th from 12 noon until 4:00 pm at Meating Street, 10553 SW Meeting Street, Port St Lucie, FL 34987.
• Due to the construction at the stadium, we had to find an alternate meeting place after the January meeting. We have not determined where to hold the February and March meetings since we don’t have the Spring Training schedule. From April through June, we will meet at the Holiday Inn Express, 1601 NW Courtyard Circle, Port St Lucie, at a cost of $165.00 per month. The location for the remainder of the year is not decided.
• We welcomed Alicia Moore from Children’s Home Society, who gave us an overview of the WaveCrest Shelter. We will be collecting non-perishable food as well as personal hygiene items at our next meeting. She thanked us for our continued support and let us know that there are opportunities available to anyone who would like to volunteer to help.
• Also in November, we ask that you bring toys to be donated to the Christmas Kids. They should be new items for children up to age 14.
• Any member in good standing, at least 18 years old and having attended four or more meetings this year can self-nominate for any of the Board positions for the next two year term that begins in January by submitting a letter of intent at the November meeting. The election will be held at the December meeting.
• Bill was pleased to report that both the Brooklyn Cyclones and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies are the Champions of their respective leagues. Unfortunately, the St. Lucie Mets lost in the first round of the playoffs. There are several of our top prospects playing in the Arizona Fall League, including Nick Morabito and Chris Suero.
• Jack Pallen was able to get many of the cards that have been requested, including Mr. & Mrs. Met, Juan Soto and the 1962 Mets. He has them available for sale tonight.
• The name called for the 50/50 was Anthony Zuppe, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.
• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by John Friello and seconded by David Kane The meeting was adjourned at 8:01 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Pat Urso, Secretary
