• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for Davey Johnson, Jim Marshall and Jim Buthke.

• We welcomed St Lucie Mets General Manager Traer Van Allen. He was pleased with the season they had, even though they fell short in the playoffs. He told us the Mets Player Development Award winners are Carsen Benge and Jonah Tong, and the DR Academy winners are Elian Peña and Osiris Calvo. The parking lot area will be used for several events during the off season, including the Chili Cook-off and Trunk-or-Treat.

• Roll call was taken. All officers, except Membership Chairperson Mary Ann Jones, were present.

• The minutes of the August 18, 2025 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Steve LaBargo and seconded by John Gregorovic. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer’s report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read was made by Susan Samson and seconded by Floyd Spanier. Motion passed.

• We had a good time watching the David Wright documentary and enjoying pizza on August 30th.

• We will keep a cancellation list for the Spring Training Party Deck since it is already filled. The date is yet to be determined.

• Jim has reserved rooms in St Petersburg for the Mets vs Rays games on August 31st and September 1st and 2nd. Contact him for complete details.

• We have several gift cards from local restaurants and Mets prizes for the Fall Event on Friday, October 24th at Meating Street. We will have a buffet luncheon with dessert and soft drinks included. The deadline for payment is October 17th.

• In the Minor League report, Bill let us know that St. Lucie lost to Daytona in the first round, and Binghamton and Brooklyn are advancing to the finals. He highlighted Carson Benge as a potential 5-tool player.

• The Mets will wear a patch honoring Davey Johnson next year. We thanked Ed Delany for his photos. We ordered a limited supply of new Booster Club pins, which we will sell for $5.00 each.

• The name called for the 50/50 for was Alan Mathison, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.
