• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for our past treasurer JoAnne Wells, and former Mets Willie Mays and Mike Cubbage. Roll call was taken. Officers Bill Zuppe, Judy Fitgerald and Pat Urso were present, with Jim Fertitta attending via Zoom.

• The minutes of the June 17, 2024 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Frank Lange and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Reports for July and August were read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Reports as read was made by Joyce King and seconded by Susan Samson. Motion passed.

• Bill Zuppe gave us a minor league report. Syracuse is in last place, Binghamton is at .500, Brooklyn is in 5th place and St. Lucie is 4th in their division. He let us know that outfielder Nick Morabito is slashing .304/.396/.777 with 50 stolen bases.

• The Spring Training schedule was released, and both the Red Sox and Yankees will be playing the Mets at home this season. We are planning a road trip to the Mets vs Nationals game in West Palm Beach on Saturday, March 15th and a bus trip to Miami on Tuesday, April 1st. We will not order tickets for that regular season game until we know the bus is filled. The Spring Gathering is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 8th.

• We are collecting prizes for the Annual Dinner on Saturday, November 9th at Tutto Fresco. If you have any extra memorabilia you would like to donate, please let us know or bring it to our next meeting. We also have a letter available to use to request donations from local businesses you patronize.

• The name called for the July 50/50 was Susan Samson, who was present and won 75% of the pot. The August 50/50 winner was Paula Zuppe, who was present via Zoom and won 75% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Morgan Fitzgerald and seconded by Frank Lange. The meeting was adjourned at 7:24 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
