• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for former Mets Bill Denehy and Bill Hepler. Roll call was taken. All officers were present.

• The minutes of the June 16, 2025 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Paul Samson and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer’s reports for July and August were read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s reports as read was made by Stephen LaBargo and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• We have arranged to watch the David Wright documentary in the Conference Room at Clover Park on Saturday, August 30th, beginning at 3:00 pm. Afterwards we will serve pizza and refreshments. There is no charge for this event. Anyone who would like to attend the St Lucie Mets game that evening will be able to purchase tickets for only $5.00.

• During Spring Training, we will have the open air party decks reserved for one game. The space has already been filled with over 70 members expressing interest. Once we have the schedule, we will determine the date and the cost.

• Our Fall Event will be on Friday, October 24th from 12 noon to 4:00 pm on the patio at Meating Street in Tradition. The cost of $40.00 per person for the buffet meal is due by October 17th. We have been collecting raffle prizes and should have a good assortment.

• We provided tickets and food for a St Lucie Mets game to 25 members of the Jensen Beach High Scholl NET Club. The night was extra special to them since one of their members sang the National Anthem. Their advisor Rob Roamno spoke to us about the importance of socialization for those with exceptionalities.

• In the Minor League report, Bill let us know that besides St. Lucie, Binghamton and Brooklyn have also made the playoffs The Mets have 4 prospects in MLB’s Top 50, Carson Benge, Jett Williams, Nolan McLean and Jonah Tong.

• Since we only have 20 people for the Bus Trip to Miami on Saturday, September 27th and the deadline is September 1st, it doesn’t look like it will happen. We will try again next season.

• We welcomed new members Ruth Martinez, Terry and Peggy Cervullo, Brett Kinder and Evan Silver.

• The name called for the 50/50 for July was Larry Burnett and for August was Don Byrnes. Neither member was present, and each won 50% of the pot for their month.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Susan Samson and seconded by Carol Hardy. The meeting was adjourned at 7:43 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
