• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for 1966 Mets player Bill Murphy. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present.

• The minutes of the May 20, 2024 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Steve LaBargo and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Joyce King and seconded by Carol Harty. Motion passed.

• We only have 19 signed up for the game in Miami, so we will not be able to have the bus trip. Jim will look into alternative transportation and let those interested know if anything else is reasonable.

• There is no meeting in July and our next meeting will be on August 19th.

• The Annual Dinner is on Saturday, November 9th. We will have it at Tutto Fresco, 9501 Reserve

Blvd, Port St. Lucie, on the left side of the patio area. The cost is $50.00 per person for an appetizer, entrée platter and dessert, with a cash bar. November 1st is the deadline for payment.

• Bill Zuppe gave us a minor league report, which included the current standings for the affiliates. He put the spotlight on Ryan Clifford, who hit 6 home runs in 12 games this month in Binghamton.

• If you are going to the July 4th St Lucie Mets game, be advised that all seats are reserved, not general admission.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Steve Mance, who was present via Zoom and won 75% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Paul Samson and seconded by Susan Samson. The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
