The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call was taken. All officers were present.

• St. Lucie Mets General Manager Traer Van Allen was pleased to announce that the Spring Training schedule is finally out. All tickets will now be digital and dynamic pricing, based on day, time, opponent and seat location, is now in effect. These changes were made to align with Major League procedures.

• The minutes of the October 20, 2025 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Doug Weiss and seconded by Stephen LaBargo. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer’s report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read was made by Joyce King and seconded by Carol Messina. Motion passed.

• The Fall Event at Meating Street went very well. We had many nice comments about the venue, the food and the wonderful prizes. Special thanks go to Judy Fitzgerald for her efforts in putting the event together, along with Susan Fertitta who assembled many of the baskets. We also thank all those who donated items and collected donations from the community. In her report, Judy let us know that the net profit was just under $1400.00, which was nearly $500.00 more than last year.

• The Board discussed having our annual donations support organizations that would benefit more directly from the money and recommended the following: Children’s Home Society WaveCrest Shelter $1000.00, WPSL Christmas Kids $500.00, Hibiscus Children’s Center $1000.00 and Treasure Coast Food Banks for the Backpack Buddy Program $500.00. A motion to make these donations was made by Scott Neidhammer and seconded by John Gregorovic. Motion passed.

• Greg Wyatt accepted our toy donations for the WPSL Christmas Kids, which will be renamed next year as the Carol Wyatt Memorial Christmas Kids. In addition to distributing the toys, they run a swimming program and also provide school supplies and clothes for the homeless students in the county.

• We will have a Pizza Party at 6:00 pm on December 15th. The meeting will then start at 7:00 pm. Jim is donating 10 bobbleheads for the meeting raffle.

• The January 18th meeting will be held at Clover Park. Details for the February and March meetings are still to be determined. The Spring Gathering will be at Recovery Sports Grill in Tradition on Saturday, March 14th. Details will follow. The price for the open air suite on Friday, March 20th is still to be determined.

• Nominating letters for Officers were read as follows: Jim Fertitta for President, Bill Zuppe for Vice President, Pat Urso and Karen Gregorovic for Secretary, Judy Fitzgerald for Treasurer and Mary Ann Jones for Membership Chairperson. A motion to accept the letters was made by Floyd Spanier and seconded by Stephen LaBargo. Motion passed. The election for Secretary will be held at the December meeting. To be eligible to vote you must have been a member since the first meeting of the year and have attended at least four meetings.

• Bill went to a game in the Arizona Fall League and saw several Mets prospects play. He has also taken over the job of keeping our website updated.

• We welcomed new members Paul Guarino, Dana Levin, Lisa Collins, Vivian Hines and John and Nicole Mattia.

• Jim thanked Roger and Carolyn Willis, Steve Mance and Ed Moore for getting items signed by Mets players at Fantasy Camp.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Joe Devine, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Carol Messina and seconded by Laura LaBargo The meeting was adjourned at 8:07 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
