The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for member Catherine Burmeister, Tom Seaver, Bob liibson, Les Rohr and Philip Linz. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present.


The minutes of the February 1, 2020 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by John Calzolano and seconded by Bill Zuppe. Motion passed. The minutes of the October 1 D, 2020 Executive Board meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Jackie Calzolano and seconded by Paula Zuppe. motion passed.


The Treasurer's Report for December 2020, along with a summary from February through November, was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Wilma Dusterhoudt and seconded by Jackie Calzolano. Motion passed.


The 50/50 drawings for March through December were then held. The winners of 50% of the pot for each month were Gordon Freed (March), Steve Mance (April & June), John Calzolano (May), Kathleen Arrants (July), Bill Rosenberg (August), Bill Croasdale (Sept. & Nov.), Susan Fertitta (Oct.) and Judi Laurence (Dec.).


We do not have any update on Spring Training. Tickets are being sold and the Mets are waiting for further decisions to be made by MLB.


We held our Spring Gathering in March at the Magnolia Lakes Clubhouse, thanks to last minute arrangements made by Judy Fitzgerald. The raffles from the February meeting will be carried over to February & March 2021.


The January 18, 2021 meeting will be held at Duffy's Superplay in the Sports Room and will also be a Zoom meeting. Future meetings are scheduled for Monday, February 15th and Tuesday, March 9th, with the location to be determined.


Due to the restructuring of Minor League Baseball, the St. Lucie Mets are now the Low-A affiliate and The Brooklyn Cyclones are High-A. Syracuse remains Triple-A and Binghamton remains Double-A.


We welcomed the news of Steve Cohen as the owner of the Mets. He has named Sandy Alderson as President and Jared Porter as General Manager.


The Board recommends making a $250.00 donation to Hibiscus Children's Center. A motion to make the donation was made by Larry Licastri and seconded by Bill Zuppe. Motion passed.


The Board wished everyone Happy Holidays.


A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Paula Zuppe and seconded by John Calzolano. The meeting was adjourned at 7:43 p.m.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
