  • The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call was taken. All officers were present.

  • The minutes of the December 15, 2025 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Carol Messina and seconded by Stephen LaBargo. Motion passed.

  • The Treasurer’s report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read was made by Doug Weiss and seconded by Suzanne Murphy. Motion passed.

  • We have 10 signed items to be raffled beginning tonight and running through the March meeting.

  • Dues for 2026 should be paid by January 19th in order to have your name in the Spring Training Program.

  • We are planning a Bus Trip to Miami for the Mets vs Marlins game on Saturday, May 23. This is dependent on having enough interest to fill the bus.

  • The games in Tampa on August 31st, September 1st and 2nd are at 6:40 pm. Please contact Jim for more information.

  • We received an acknowledgement for our sympathy from Harry Arainas.

  • Mary Ann Jones asked that when you sign in on Zoom you have your name on the screen and that each member in the household is visible. If you are not using the camera, please sign in individually. This is in order for us to take attendance accurately.

  • We thanked Carol Messina for the delicious homemade Italian pastries and cookies she brought tonight.

  • We welcomed new members Charlie and Roseann Norkus.

  • The name called for the 50/50 was Craig Estenes, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

  • A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Carol Messina and seconded by Eric Lapham. The meeting was adjourned at 7:22 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
