MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2026

• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for Wes Gardner. Roll call was taken. All officers were present.

• The minutes of the May 18, 2026 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Malcolm Harris-Gowdie and seconded by Carol Messina. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer’s report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read was made by Paul Samson and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• Please remember there is no meeting in July, and our next meeting will be on August 17th at the Holiday Inn Express.

• At the August meeting, we will begin collecting payments of $45.00 per person for the Fall Luncheon at Meating Street on November 6th.

• Bill gave the Minor League report. Syracuse is now at .500, Binghamton is in last place but showing improvement, as is Brooklyn. St. Lucie has a .468 winning percentage. He highlighted pitcher Cam Tilly, who recently threw 6 1/3 innings in a combined no-hitter with Elwis Mijares for St. Lucie. Tilly was drafted in the seventh round last year after pitching at Auburn and is the Mets’ #27 prospect.

• Bill explained that the store wallet is a deposit held by the supplying company against sales. He hopes to add some holiday-themed items to our offerings.

• Construction is progressing at the Minor League complex.

• We will need to meet a minimum of 25 in order to get group tickets for each of the Mets vs. Rays games in Tampa. The series is from Monday through Wednesday, August 31st, September 1st and 2nd.

• Member Malcolm Harris-Gowdie will be a media correspondent at the Special Olympics USA Games being held in Minnesota later this month. He will be interviewing the Team Florida athletes, among others.

• We welcomed new member Ken Sezerbar.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Bill Zuppe who was present and won 75% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Carol Messina and seconded by John Gregorovic. The meeting was adjourned at 7:27 pm.
