• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for 1969 Met Dr. Ron Taylor. Roll call was taken. All officers were present.

• The minutes of the May 19, 2025 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Steve LaBargo and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer’s report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read was made by Joyce King and seconded by Betty Brennan. Motion passed.

• Congratulations to St. Lucie Mets Manager Luis Rivera, the staff and players for winning the first half of the season.

• Bill let us now that Syracuse is struggling and Brooklyn has a magic number of 3 with 3 games to play against the last place team. Binghamton has clinched the first half, with Anthony Nunez recording his first save in the win. He was originally drafted as a 3rd baseman in 2019 but was able to return to a D-II college team where he converted to pitching. Jonah Tong currently has a 1.97 ERA and 0.97 WHIP with 96 strikeouts.

• The BBQ went very well with 30 people attending. We want to plan on doing this again during Spring Training, maybe the week after the Gathering.

• Our next meeting is Monday, August 18th.

• Our Fall Event will be on Friday, October 24th from 12 noon to 4:00 pm at Meating Street in Tradition. The cost is $40.00 per person and the deadline for payment is October 17th.

• We will have a Bus Trip to Miami on Saturday, September 27th, providing we have at least 55 people who want to go. The cost is $95.00 for members and $100.00 for non-members.

• Fantasy Camp sessions will be November 9th to 15th and November 16th to 22nd.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Robert Lindstedt, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Steve LaBargo and seconded by John Gregorovic The meeting was adjourned at 7:34 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
