• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for former Mets pitcher Dick Tidrow. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present, with President Jim Fertitta attending via Zoom.

• The minutes of the June 21, 2021 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Bill Zuppe and seconded by Joe Silecchia. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Paula Zuppe and seconded by Joe Silecchia. Motion passed.

• We are grateful to the Mets for allowing us back into the Conference Room. It is a very nice, welcoming space.

• The Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday, November 6, at the Hilton Garden Inn. We will start a sign-up sheet next month. We will be working out the details and pricing soon.

• We added a new feature to our website called Buy Sell Trade, where you can buy, sell or trade your sports memorabilia. Check it out at www.metsboosterclub.org.

• Member Gene Saunders spoke to us about Project Lifesaver, an organization the provides tracking devices for those who are prone to wandering , such as children with autism and Alzheimer's patients. The Board agreed to make a $200.00 donation to Project Lifesaver.

• We received a thank you from Faith Kidz for their outing to a recent St. Lucie Mets game.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Sue Fertitta, who was present via Zoom and won 75% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Morgan Fitzgerald and seconded by Gayle Fishbein. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
