
• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for former Mets pitcher Pedro Feliciano. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present.
• The minutes of the October 18, 2021 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Gene Saunders and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.
• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Ken Osterhoudt and seconded by Mary Ann Jones. Motion passed.
• Judy gave us a report on the dinner. Our profit was just over $1300.00, with additional receipts still pending. We thanked Judy for the extra effort she put into this event, making it a big success. Thanks also to Ken & Wilma Osterhoudt for donating a case of wine for prizes and to Gary Pincus for donating the signed Doc Gooden hats. We truly appreciate how welcoming the Mets were in having us use the stadium.
• We resumed our food drive for the Children's Home Society Wavecrest Shelter and the Toy drive for WPSL Christmas Kids this year. Thanks you to all who brought donations. Mary Peck will deliver the food and Greg & Carol Wyatt attended the meeting to receive the toys. The Christmas Kids has expanded their services to provide back to school clothes and a water safety program.
• The Board recommends making a $200.00 donation to Shop with a Cop, a program where the Port St. Lucie Police take children shopping for Holiday gifts. A motion was made by Joyce King, seconded by Grace Korona, to make the donation. Motion passed.
• The tickets for the Mets vs. Nationals road game in Palm Beach on Sunday, March 13, 2022, are $30.00 each. We have 40 tickets, with 20 already sold. Your payment reserves your ticket.
• Jim asked for nomination letters to be read for the next term of Officers. Letters were read by Jim Fertitta for President, Dora Licastri for Vice President, Judy Fitzgerald for Treasurer, Pat Urso for Secretary and Mary Peck for Membership Chairperson. Since each office was unopposed, a motion was made by Wilma Osterhoudt, seconded by Joyce King, to have the Officers remain for the next two years. Motion passed.
• We will have a Pizza Party and Tour of the stadium after the December meeting. Please remember to pay for the 50/50 donation package for the coming year. Wilma Osterhoudt is selling Enjoyment Books for $35.00 each. Please contact her or Jim if you would like to purchase them.
• A Spring Training game against the Yankees on March 28, 2022 has been added to the schedule. Bus trips to Miami for Mets vs. Marlins games are on June 25, July 30 and September 10.
• Ed Moore let us know that Fantasy Camp was held, with 100 campers in each session. They will continue to have it in November going forward.
• We welcomed new members, Joe and Susan Grodzki and Tom and Barbara Wallace.
• The name called for the 50/50 was Richard Talbot, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.
• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Gene Saunders and seconded by Paul Samson. The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
