• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call was taken. Officers were present.

• The minutes of the November 15, 2021 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Jim Tourville and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Susan Samson and seconded by Grace Korona. Motion passed.

• Jim thanked everyone again for their generous donations of toys and food last month.

• There are still tickets available at $30.00 each for the March 13th game in Palm Beach.

• Please see Wilma Osterhoudt if you would like to purchase an Enjoyment Book.

• The January 17th meeting will be held at Clover Park. We are working on finding a location for the February 21st and March 14th meetings.

• St. Lucie Mets General Manager Traer Van Allen gave us an overview of the lock-out process, which does not affect the Minor Leagues. He also told us that the pitch clock will be used at the Low-A level and playoffs will be back as well.

• We received a thank you letter from the Port St. Lucie Police Foundation for our donation to the Shop with a Cop program.

• The Board recommended making $200.00 donations to the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County, Hibiscus Children's Center, and the Treasure Coast Food Bank. A motion to make the donations was made by Jim Tourville and seconded by Ken Osterhoudt. Motion passed.

• Traer told us that the United Way, in conjunction with the Amazin' Mets Foundation, is sponsoring a shopping spree for 10 children with the St. Lucie Mets staff. The board recommended a $200.00 donation to help offset the cost of miscellaneous items. A motion to make the donation was made by Wilma Osterhoudt and seconded by Gayle Fishbein. Motion passed.

• Mary Peck has submitted her resignation as Membership chairperson, effective January 1, 2022, due to a family emergency. The Board thanked her for her service and will appoint a replacement at the January meeting.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Pina Hidalgo, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Wilma Osterhoudt and seconded by Mary Ann Jones. The meeting was adjourned at 7:42 p.m.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
