
• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for former Mets Tommy Davis and Ralph Terry. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present, with Pat Urso attending via Zoom.
• The minutes of the March 14, 2022, meeting was read. A motion to accept the minutes as corrected was made by Joyce King and seconded by Harry Anderson. Motion passed. The correction was the date of the June bus trip, which is June 25.
• The Treasurer's Reports for March and April were read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Reports as read was made by Bill Zuppe and seconded by Ed Moore. Motion passed.
• Payment of $60.00 per person for the June 25 bus trip to Miami must be made by the May 16 meeting. The bus will leave from Clover Park at 2:00 p.m. for the 4:10 p.m. game. The remaining trips for the year will be on July 30 and September 10.
• We took in $445.00 from the February/March raffle.
• Dora gave a minor league report, noting that Syracuse and Binghamton currently have losing records, while Brooklyn and St. Lucie, along with New York are winning.
• Membership Chairperson Mary Ann Jones acknowledged our newest members, Sal Yonta, Jason Langberg, Mary Ann Jankowski and Bob Dunkerley. She mentioned we now have 299 members. We also welcomed Jason Grant, who is attending his first meeting.
• Several members who attended opening day at Citi Field recounted their experiences.
• The name called for the 50/50 was Tracy Trovato, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.
• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by John Calzolano and seconded by Joyce King. The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
