• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for former Mets Joe Pignatano and Bob Miller. Roll call was taken. All Officers except Mary Ann Jones were present, with Pat Urso attending via Zoom.

• The minutes of the May 16, 2022, meeting was read by Dora Licastri. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Jason Grant and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer’s Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read was made by Paul Samson and seconded by Wilma Osterhoudt. Motion passed.

• Congratulations to the St. Lucie Mets for winning the Florida State League East Division first half title. The League will not have an All-Star game this year.

• The bus to Miami on Saturday will be leaving from the stadium at 12 noon. There are a few seats left as of tonight. The deadline to reserve and pay for the trip on July 30th has been extended until July 6th.

• The July 18th meeting will be held in the St. Lucie Mets Convention Center at Baron Real Estate, 8555 Commerce Centre Drive, Port St Lucie, FL 34986.

• Dora reported our minor league records as of tonight: St. Lucie 40-22, Brooklyn 25-35, Binghamton 24-39, and Syracuse 25-40. New York has a winning record of 45-24.

• Judy welcomed new members Roger and Carolyn Willis, Suzanne & Brian Isacson and Blake Fontenay.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Chrissy Friello, who was present via Zoom and won 75% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Jason Grant and seconded by Rich Springer. The meeting was adjourned at 7:23 p.m.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
