• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for John Sullivan and original Met Roger Craig. Roll call was taken. All Officers, except Mary Ann Jones, were present.

• The minutes of the May 15, 2023 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Paul Samson and seconded by Roger Willis. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as read was made by Susan Samson and seconded by Les Zucker. Motion passed.

• The watch party went well, with 30 people in attendance. We have scheduled another one for Saturday, August 26 for the Mets vs. Angels game at 7:10 pm. Plan to meet in the back room at Duffy’s in St. Lucie West by 6:30 pm and remember to wear a Mets shirt for a free raffle ticket. Let Jim know if you plan to attend.

• There is no meeting in July. Our next meeting is Monday, August 21.

• Bill reported that our minor league teams have been improving. One standout player is outfielder Bill Rudick in Binghamton.

• We have tentatively scheduled a bus trip to Miami on Wednesday, September 20 for the 6:40 p.m. game. If we have 40 people confirmed for the bus, we will make the trip. The cost will be $80.00 for members and $85.00 for non-members. The deadline to sign up is August 21.

• We are starting to get some nice prizes for our Annual Dinner on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

• We welcomed new members Jennifer Amaro, Marco Cruz and Linda and Al Solanick.

• The name called for the June 50/50 was Chrissy Friello, who was not present and won 50% of the pot. The name called for the July 50/50 was Christine Mathison, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Roger Willis and seconded by James McKeon. The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
