• The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for former Met Ed Bressoud. Roll call was taken. All Officers were present, with Bill Zuppe attending via Zoom.

• The minutes of the June 19, 2023 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Carol Hardy and seconded by Doug Weiss. Motion passed.

• The Treasurer's Reports for July and August were read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer's Reports as read was made by Joyce King and seconded by Roger Willis. Motion passed.

• The bus trip to Miami on September 20 is cancelled since we only had 25 people sign up. We will try again next year on May 18 and July 20.

• Since the Mets play in Tampa from Friday to Sunday, May 3,4 & 5, 2024, we are planning a road trip. The Club will be getting the tickets for the Friday and Sunday games. We will be joining the 7-Line Army on Saturday. Jim has reserved a block of rooms at the Tru by Hilton. An email will be sent with more details. You will be on your own for travel arrangements.

• Bill reported that the Cyclones have a chance at making the playoffs. He highlighted top prospect outfielder Drew Gilbert playing in Binghamton, who the Mets acquired in the Verlander trade. The Florida Complex League Mets will play in the first round of playoffs on Thursday.

• Judy has a donation request letter available if anyone would like to use it to help us get prizes for our Annual Dinner on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

• Our Spring Gathering will be on Saturday, March 9,2024.

• Membership chairperson Mary Ann Jones welcomed new member Bob Donohue.

• Wilma Osterhoudt thanked us on behalf of the children we brought to the game last month.

• The name called for the 50/50 was Richard Talbot, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.

• A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Doug Weiss and seconded by James McKeon. The meeting was adjourned at 7:34 pm.

The purpose of this organization is to provide support to the New York and St. Lucie Mets organizations, to provide an avenue for indigent and abused children to attend baseball games and to financially support local organizations who help indigent and abused children. The club shall be an informal, family oriented, social organization for the enjoyment of its membership as its priority, Chartered by the State of Florida.
