MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2026
The monthly Booster Club Meeting was called to order at 7:04 pm. After the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence was held for Mickey Lolich and Terrence Gore. Roll call was taken. All officers were present.
The minutes of the January 12, 2026 meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Paul Samson and seconded by Joyce King. Motion passed.
The Treasurer’s report was read by Judy Fitzgerald. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read was made by Carol Messina and seconded by Michelle Horvath. Motion passed.
For the Open Air Suite game on Friday, March 20th, Jim will have your game ticket and wristband at the next meeting. Your name will be on a list at the elevator.
The Spring Booster Bash (formerly the Spring Gathering) will be at Duffy’s on Saturday, March 14th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The March 18th meeting will be at the Hilton Garden Inn. We will conclude the raffle for the 10 signed items that has been carried over since January. The meetings from April through June will be at the Holiday Inn Express across from Duffy’s.
Spring Training season ticketholders now have early admission 2 hours and 40 minutes before game time. They are also entitled to a 25% discount at the concessions during that first extra hour before the gates open.
Bill gave us a rundown of the refurbishing of the Minor League facilities, which will include a workout room, training room with hydrotherapy, multi-purpose room and a kitchen.
Fantasy Camp will be held in November at the Jackie Robinson Training Facility in Vero Beach.
We have scheduled the Fall Luncheon for Friday, November 6th at Meating Street.
We welcomed new members Dave and Laure Scinto of Fort Pierce.
The name called for the 50/50 was Mike Morency, who was not present and won 50% of the pot.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by John Gregorovic and seconded by Paula Zuppe. The meeting was adjourned at 7:32 pm.
