The Board has proposed changes to the By-Laws as follows: deleting the reduced dues for new members who join between July and September; changing the eligibility requirements to run for office and to vote from attending 4 meetings to attending 6 meetings; and adding a procedure in the event of a tie vote. The changes will be read again at the next two meetings and then a vote will be taken.
Payment for the Fall Luncheon on November 6th should be made by October 30th. You can let Judy know if you have a group that would like to be seated together. If you would like to solicit donations for prizes we have a letter prepared that you can use.
The Minor League teams have been playing well recently, but none are projected to make the playoffs. We highlighted Mitch Voit, who had 36 stolen bases with Brooklyn and was recently promoted to Binghamton.

The name called for the 50/50 for July was Ed Moore and for August was Liam Aumock. Neither were present and each won 50% of the pot.
